I've never propagated a Christmas Cactus before, so I have no idea what I'm doing. A single leaf fell off my Christmas Cactus, so I figured I'd try to root it. Wasn't expecting much, but it actually rooted!!
So now what? Should I put back in the soil so the roots can further develop, or should I put it in it's new permanent home? Will it actually grow into a plant since it's only one leaf? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Rooted Christmas Cactus
It will grow into a plant if you put it in some soil. Not a very full one for a while, but you can trim a few more and start those with it in some soil.
Thank you, Mrs Farmer
