Friends:
Last year, thrips very quickly invaded my gladiolus blooms the minute they started to emerge. I'm wondering about the best way to prevent them. I know there are some systemics I could use, but I'm concerned that they might kill off bees. Also, I've never found the sticky traps or neem oil approaches to help with thrips. I have Conserve, and I'm wondering if I could apply it at some point - if so, what would be the best time to apply it? Any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

Best way to prevent thrips on gladiolus
Hi Kohria,
Conserve seems like a safer alternative to the systemic insecticides I use on my zinnias.

I don't know about its threat to bees. Do you see bees in your glad blooms?
