I planted Tidal Wave petunia seeds saved from last year in 1.5" square jiffy pellets. The seeds were so tiny, I just scattered a pinch of the dried leaves on top. They are coming up like grass. Do I need to thin them out?
I need advice on growing Wave Petunias from seed.
Hi Bobbie,
" They are coming up like grass. Do I need to thin them out? "
Yes. You could "prick some of them out" and transplant them to new pellets. Are you growing these under lights? I assume that in Colorado it isn't safe to plant them out in the garden yet.
