What is this any smaller I say recluse?
Spider ugly
About all that I can determine from this image is that you have a male spider. It's overall appearance doesn't look much like that of a brown recluse - see https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_recluse_spider#/media/File:Brown-recluse-2-edit.jpg for an example. Also, these spiders are called recluse for a reason; one seldom encounters them out in the open...
I say recluse do to the legs and maybe the head in a way, I also say a southern house spider. I've been spider bit a few times to point Im phobic. I've done away with card board boxes in my house. Kentucky is loaded with spiders. Here is a better image.
If you take a close look at the palps on your specimen, you will see that they look nothing like those of a male recluse spider - see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Loxosceles_reclusa_adult_male_2.jpg
