What is meant by "Alexandrian Garden"? I can't find an answer for this question using the search engines. My students mentioned this term when I asked them to write a briefing about the architectural features of the ancient Hadrian's Villa, Italy. It is virtually called/described as "Alexandrian Garden" but no reference in the literature defines what this means. So curious, appreciate any elaboration.
What is meant by Alexandrian Garden
I found this reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadrian%27s_Villa which describes Hadrian's Villa. I can only suspect this was built in the Alexandrian Era.
