Hi, I recently purchased several plants from accentsforhomeandgarden.com and it has been about a week, and I just went to water this plant again (piper nigrum) and found little white eggs all over the leaves. There were even some on the top parts of a few leaves. I scrubbed them all off with a toothbrush (I think). I have no idea what species they are. Please help!
Clear eggs all over the back of leaves HELP!
These more likely are tiny sap-feeding insects than eggs. If they recur, try washing them off with a strong stream of water (if that will not harm the plant). Otherwise, you could apply an insecticidal soap.
