My Orange Jubilee Esperanza is a few years old now, but it only blooms late fall and winter (before frost hits) unlike others who say it blooms all summer. I live in west central Florida where we do get frost and freezes during winter and it dies back but comes back in spring. It usually blooms after my hummingbird leave in late August, but it's food for the migrating Baltimore Orioles in winter. Is mine just a different species?

In South Louisiana they are fall bloomers too.
