I live in San Diego county, California. I keep getting these small dark spots in one drawer in my bathroom. First just a couple, then the amount shown after a couple weeks. They don’t appear to move. Are they eggs or defecation from an insect? An insect themselves? I clean the drawer out with bleach wipes, but they always come back. Thanks for any help you can provide!

These look to me more like feces (droppings) than eggs of any kind. I cannot see enough detail to be certain, but I would include cockroaches among the possibilities - see https://lovebackyard.com/what-does-roach-poop-look-like/ for an example.
