Take a look at the spider in the photo. I've not seen one like this before. If you recognize the little arachnid, I'd appreciate anyone who can name it. Thanks.

It's a crab spider (family Thomisidae); might be Misumenoides formosipes, known as the whitebanded crab spider - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misumenoides_formosipes
