Found this bug in my dried lavender. It did eventually fly away if that helps.

This is a type of assassin bug (family Reduviidae) in the subfamily Phymatinae known as an ambush bug. These bugs often hang out in flowers where their appearance blends in with their surroundings, and wait for their next meal to wander close enough for them to nab.
