My hydrangeas did very well until July, should mention this was their first year, they bloomed and grew from April to June. Then July rolled around and they started getting spots. I believe it may have been due to how I was watering or a fungus so I addressed both. I started watering at the roots and applied an organic fungicide. The plants look terrible but there is new growth on the wood of the plant. Do you think they will come back next year?
