From the online pictures I've seen, it seems to be what this is. I didn't know they came this far South (Memphis, TN).

Although it sure does look like Bombus fervidus, some specimens of the American bumble bee, Bombus pensylvanicus, can be quite similar - see https://birdseye.photo/photos/review/3000029/american_bumble_bee/
Also, B. fervidus has been reported from as far south as northern Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina.
