Tiny beetle?

Anyone know what this is??? Found it in some water in the kitchen. I'm freaking out.

It looks like an anobiid, such as a cigarette or drugstore beetle. Both species will infest a wide variety of dry stored food products, including spices and tobacco. See http://idl.entomology.cornell.edu/wp-content/uploads/Cigarette-and-Drugstore-Beetles.pdf for detailed information.

Thank you! I cleaned out my entire kitchen after I found this and couldn't find an infestation. Is it possible to just have one or two?

Just about anything is possible, but with these critters, I would be surprised if there were not more hiding someplace. Do you have any dry pet food or bird seed sored outside of your pantry area? Also, check light fixture housings, behind baseboards, and any other places where dead insects might accumulate (these can be food sources for carpet beetles as well).

I do have dried pet food but it is in an air tight container and I sweep and vacuume once a week. I checked their bowls and didn't find anything. I dont have a way to check behind baseboards but I did check along the baseboards and carpet edges with a flash light and found no larva. I had carpet beetles in a house I used to live in so I know they can be sneaky but in all the searching and cleaning I did in the last three days looking for them I haven't turned up anything except one of these guys, one carpet beetle that was right by an opening to outside and two skins.
The carpet beetles ordeal was really traumatizing for me so I'm just trying not to freak out even though I can't find any more.
