Hi this spider was running/hopping across our kitchen floor. He was very fast and as I said and kinda hopping. I live in NW Indiana. Valparaiso exact. I'm sorry these are my best photos. As someone who is scared of them I wasn't getting too close. Huntsman crossed my mind but I know nothing about spiders
The images are not clear enough for a positive i.d.; my best guess is that it is a fishing spider (family Pisauridae) in the genus Dolomedes, certainly nothing dangerous...
