For the second year in a row I have planted Zucchini bedding plants. The plants grow well and tons of flowers but no zucchini form. The first year I was told that the flowers were not being naturally fertilized( no bees or other pollinators) so I even pollinated the flowers by hand w/a Q-tip. That first year I did not get any squash. This year I planted some flowers near the zucchini plants and have noticed many pollinators of different types. Cucumbers right near zuchini are getting many fruit, still no zucchini. Any ideas?
Zuchini
I had no idea so I googled it. When I grew zucchini I was overwhelmed with fruit.
It looks like all the flowers were male.
This article was so interesting and describes male and female flowers.

Hope this helps!
Thanks Kell, guess I've done all I can do. It's late in the season but I'll wait to see if the vines cooperate!
