My problem seems to be the opposite of most ~ my soil in my new garden just will not dry out! I cannot understand what's going on, here. My moisture meter pegs at wet everywhere, and I have cute, gray mushrooms sprouting all over.
The garden is in full sun. I used a half & half mixture of top soil and compost. Even after days of sunny, dry weather, my meter still pegs, and my plants are showing stress. My Wiltonii juniper is browning, my Russian sage and creeping sedums seem to be rotting.
How do I dry out my soil? What type of soil should I have used for these sun-loving, drought tolerant plants? I would truly appreciate some advice on what I am doing wrong!
Thank you!!
Why won\'t my soil dry?! I\'m at a total loss. Please help!!
