Was finally able to catch one and have no idea what they could be. Does anyone have an idea? Sorry for the questionable image quality, was the best I could do. Don't believe they are mosquitos since I haven't had any bites on me.

This is a non-biting fly. Although its general appearance is similar to that of flies in the family Drosophilidae (vinegar/pomace flies; often erroneously called fruit flies), the images are not clear enough to confirm that diagnosis.
