I posted pictures the other day up spider mites with their webs in testing my burning bushes. Today I discover these critters destroying my crape myrtles. I don't see any spider mite web's yet they look like spider mites only larger?
What are they and if not spider mites what to do please?

These may be aphids - try washing then off with a strong stream of water, or use an application of an insecticidal soap.
Thanks my friend. I thought they were a bit large for spider mites.
