Can anyone help with an issue Im having w my Night Jasmine? Im not sure if this due to some type of disease or pest. I've had the plant several yrs, and never had any problems with it, and never seen this before today. It looks healthy otherwise, but could stand to have more blooms, though I think that issue is bc it's in a pot.
Any help is appreciated!
Night Blooming Jasmine
Hi. It looks like white flies.
Try taking it outdoors and washing the pests off with a spray of water, then rub a weak solution of insecticidal soap onto the leaves in the early morning or late afternoon, because doing it in the heat of the day can damage the plant.
Repeat with the insecticidal soap once a week for about two more weeks.
Coat well, making sure to spray the undersides of leaves, where there may be eggs.
A good homemade insecticidal soap can be made with a mixture of dishwashing liquid, such as Palmolive with lemon, and water. A generous squirt of soap to a gallon of water should work.
