I live in FL. Hope it's not toxic. I'm pregnant btw.
CLOSED: Was just bit by this bug. Anyone know what it is?
It's a larva of a lacewing, a predaceous insect in the order Neuroptera, family Chrysopidae. For some undetermined reason, they occasionally will 'sample' human skin, but their bite is harmless to humans. When they camouflage themselves with the remains of past meals, they often are called 'trash bugs.' See https://closecritters.com/2016/11/27/trash-bugs-lacewing-larvae/ for details.
Thank you so much, I appreciate the help. Been reading about them now lol.
