These are all over my sunflowers; I live in Daytona Beach FL. Do I need to get rid of them or are they good bugs? I've looked at tons of pictures; closest I could find was a "soldier" beetle but not exact.

It's a blister beetle; looks like Zonitis vittigera - http://www.cirrusimage.com/beetles_blister_Zonitis_vittigera.htm

These usually are destructive.
