CLOSED: What a strange insect !!!

Rome, Italy

I can not understand who he is; I tried between Brupestidae but after the first 20 pages without result the eyes started to flicker.
So I decided to ask for help.
Who helps me, then?
Thank you!!!

Hi!
Looking, trying I think I found it: Staphylinus caesareus or also (perhaps better) S. dimidiaticornis.
What do you think?
Thank you

I would favor S. caesareus because the antennal segments on your specimen all appear to be the same color. In S. dimidiaticornis, the segments usually appear darker towards the ends of the antennae.

OK!
Thanks for the clarification !!!!
