I was trimming my tree (in Ontario, Canada). When I came inside, I felt a burning/stinging feeling on my stomach, under my t-shirt. I swatted it off! Please identify it! Much appreciated. Sorry that I couldn't get the photo sharper.
What kind of bug is this - it stung me...
It's a long-horned wood-boring beetle (family Cerambycidae). Most beetles in this family have very strong jaws; it likely bit you when it found itself trapped under your clothing. Some larger species are capable of drawing blood when they bite.
