Help identify this odd black spider.

The only thing that I can tell for certain about this spider is that it is a male. The images are not distinct enough to make out diagnostic characters. That aside, a likely suspect would be running crab spider 9family Philodromidae) in the genus Thanatus. These are harmless to humans.
