I would love to find what species this is. It is very common at 2100m in the Western Codillera of Colombia and was even featured in the movie ĻDog Eat DogĻ (Perro Come Perro).
Polydesmida sp.?
This is in the polydesmid family Platyrhacidae (sometimes called armored or tractor millipedes); some species in the genus Barydesmus resemble your specimen - see https://www.flickr.com/photos/140059422@N06/25697925831/ for an example.
Thank you very much for that lead Flapdoodle. After more digging I think it may be Psammodesmus calius. http://bdigital.unal.edu.co/56761/13/shirleydaniellamartineztorres.2016.pdf (page 66)
But I canīt find any images.
