Hi,
Does anyone have an idea about what could be eating my vincas? There are holes in the leaves. There are bite marks out of the flowers and sometimes the entire bud is eaten before it even has a chance to bloom. There are also small holes near the flowers in the flower bed about the size of a quarter (voles?), picture below. And it looks like something may be digging near the roots (something looking for grubs?). I don't know if any of these events are related or all different problems within this one flower bed. I have put down sevin, sluggo and bacillus thuringiensis over the past couple weeks but haven't seen improvement yet.Any thoughts?
What is eating my vinca?
Just a guess but it might be earwigs. They are mostly nocturnal and hide during the day so you probably won't see them actively eating your plants.
