I planted my rootbound pepper seedlings. They’re surviving, but not thriving. That is, they haven’t died, but don’t seem to be growing after 2-3 weeks! They looked far healthier when first transplanted. Is there anything I can do now that they’re in the ground, short of digging them up and thinning the root ball?
Rootbound Peppers
You can start by removing the wood chips. They are using all the nitrogen to decompose, staving the pepper plants. Then sprinkle some blood meal around the plants. Should look better after that.
