Puss moth or maybe kin to it? This one can hustle, he wasn't sitting still for me.

This is a tussock moth caterpillar in the genus Halysidota - see https://www.insectidentification.org/insect-description.asp?identification=Banded-Tussock-Moth for an example.
Stinging as a descriptor....thanx for the id and info! Have noticed a few adults as well.
