Two small white worms dig tunnels into the branches of my roses

Rome, Italy

This morning, looking at my roses, I noticed a clump of leaves which, in addition to being eaten, looked strange.

I looked closely and the eye landed on a small black spot on the branch which was only a small hole as I could see by cutting in half the branch by finding a nice surprise

Two white worm that had already dug a long gallery and swung lazily set to light.

I went to check out the other plants and in another I noticed a similar black dot and sharpening my view I noticed something protruding. I first thought about the Exuvia of some chrysalis but then I saw that it was moving and it was the same white worm.
I could not take the picture because the branch was between the leaves and began to flow.

This appears to be a caterpillar of a small moth; possibly in the superfamily Pyraloidea, but I can find no information on any particular species that would attack roses. I can only suggest that you cut off and destroy any rose stems that appear to be so infested (sprays are very unlikely to be effective on caterpillars in their tunnels).

Thank you very much!
With sorrow I had already feared having to destroy the branches affected by the problem!!!
