Its a sphinx moth, what plant is it on? (Or hawk moth, same) they are kinda plant specific and turn into a type of hummingbird moth - tho still a moth

This is a caterpillar of a cecropia moth, Hyalophora cecropia in the family Saturniidae (giant silk moths) - see http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/bfly/moth2/cecropia_moth.htm
