Found this spider on my door frame this morning! I live right beside the Blue Ridge Parkway. We've never had a spider like this around our house before. Wondering what it is? Thanks!!
Large Spider
Looks like a fishing spider (family Pisauridae) - google "Dolemedes tenebrosus" to see if that looks like your specimen. These are not dangerous to humans.
