Did I just make a big mistake?
I was raking leaves out of this empty plant bed (pic of after mesh removal) and my rake kept catching on this green plastic mesh (pic) and almost broke. I went and tore up a huge pile of the stuff from the entire bed, although I am sure there is more in the area I didn't have to rake. Of course I didn't think about it being erosion control till after I tore it all out.
So, should I have left well enough alone? Do I need to put in erosion control fabric/plants?
Thanks!
Plastic Mesh
Personally, I'd pull it all out, and plant some shrubs to stabilise the soil. I don't like the idea of what is in effect plastics polluting in the soil.
