We had these bugs in our bathroom and kitchen quite a bit this past summer. However, it’s now winter, and my wife found what she thinks is the same bug under our toddler’s mattress crawling. I don’t think it to be a bed bug, but because of its location it’s got us a little worried. It was very small, so I did the best I could with photos. I’m hoping the lighter colored pieces are wings, which would rule out bed bugs. Maybe they aren’t the same as this summer?

These images are not clear enough for me to be confident of a positive i.d, but it looks to me more like a beetle of some kind rather than a bed bug...
