Hi, I acquired this adorable fig from a creepig fig vine and I was wondering if someone could help me plant its seeds successfully.
Thanks for any help!
Lexi
How to plant Creepig Fig seeds?
Plant the whole fig - IF it had matured fully, and NOT been irradiated by a grocers chain, I believe you have a chance to grow it. I will need to check on whether or not that is a grafted fig - since grafts won't necessarily produce a true fruit.
Do you mean Ficus pumila? If so, you can find a germination guide for it at the bottom of the following page:
http://b-and-t-world-seeds.com/cartall.asp?species=Ficus%20pumila&sref=1141
I believe it's a climbing ornamental plant, whose fruits aren't meant to be eaten, so the information about irradiation, grafts, and etc. wouldn't apply to it.
Yeah, I noticed that when I looked it up. Thanx
