Can someone tell me the exact name of this species. I think it’s a stink bug of some sort. They have been swarming around my magnolia tree the past few months and I don’t know why. Found in North Texas.

These are leaf-footed bugs (family Coreidae), possibly in the genus Mozena - see http://www.austinbug.com/coreidae.html
They have scent glands, and thus sometimes are called stink bugs, a name usually associated with bugs in the family Pentatomidae.
