CLOSED: Spider ID needed please

Texas City, TX

Hi - just rented a brand new apartment that has never been lived in by humans. :) However, looks like an army of spiders has already made a home on my porch! Could you please help ID this spider? I also included two of the egg sacs. I’m leaning towards a garden spider or banana spider (I have bad childhood memories of banana spiders!! Ahhhh!!) but it really doesn’t look 100% like either. I’d appreciate any help with the ID. FYI I live south of Houston if that helps and, btw, the web is quite large. I’d guess at least 3x3’.

This is a brown widow spider, Latrodectus geometricus. It is not as medically significant as its well-known cousin, the black widow spider. See http://www.texasinvasives.org/pest_database/detail.php?symbol=47 for detailed information.

Many thanks!
