And what can I do about it?? I have two plants and it's happening to both. I live in So Cal and this summer has been pretty hot. But I've been watering and it's only one side. The other side is fine. The water from the drip line is coming from the sides that are dying.
Plant is Dying on One Side Near The Bottom - Why
looks like you're polygala has water stress, try deep watering then letting it drain, polygala doesnt like too much water anyway. the defoliation at the bottom is a key sign that its a water issue. hope this helps. and about a treatment. just re-evaluate your water distribution.
the polygala at my nursery does the same when its overwatered or potbound.
