Leaf Eating Beetles are Attacking my Leonotis Leonurus!

Los Angeles, CA

I found several weevil's feasting on my Leonotis Leonurus (Lion's Tail), which is in the mint family. I am guessing these weevils are some sort of Mint Weevil. At first it wasn't that big of an issue, my Lion's Tail is mature and large, I live in Los Angeles and it is still blooming in late-September, however they have started to settle inside nearly all of the flower pods, I think it's detracting pollinators because I no longer see butterflies nor hummingbirds come to the flowers, even the spiders are elsewhere. A couple of branches are looking sad, brown and yellow. Can someone help me identify the weevil so I can figure out how to get rid of it (hopefully organically). I should also mention, I found what seems like the bug's feces on many of the leaves. And another branch has white sappy nodes, I don't think they are weevil eggs because those live underground in the roots, it could either be sap from the plant or something worse like scale eggs. I've included photos of everything, any help is super appreciated.

This is a weevil in the subfamily Entiminae (broad-nosed/short-snouted weevils); the notched-leaf feeding pattern is typical of these weevils. However, it is their larvae, which are root feeders, that usually do more serious damage to plants. See http://horticulture.oregonstate.edu/system/files/onn010104.pdf for more information.
