Can you identify the species of these ants?
I live in Taiwan, I shot this video next to my house by the drainage. They are quite big about 8mm long.

My best guess is that they are in the genus Polyrhachis - see http://www.antwiki.org/wiki/Polyrhachis_wolfi#mediaviewer/File:Polyrhachis_wolfi_casent0903446_p_1_high.jpg for an example.
