Found this in the basement of my duplex in West Michigan...not a huge fan of spiders. Is it dangerous? Should I do anything about it? Any help would be great. I was too afraid to get any closer to it so this is the best picture I could get haha.

The only medically important spider in Michigan is the black widow spider, and this isn't one of those. It might be a common house spider, Parasteatoda tepidariorum - http://www.spiders.us/image/parasteatoda-tepidariorum-31/
