ever since i moved to california ive found lots of spiders and now im keeping a notebook of all the ones ive found! but i dont know what this one is... its about the size of a dime and brown

The image is not clear enough for a positive i.d. - it might be either in the family Araneidae (orb weavers) or Theridiidae (cobweb/comb-footed spiders)...
