Can anybody please tell me what kind of spider this is? I found it in late November in my garage, and it was quite large. I'd never seen anything like it! I've been wondering what kind it was ever since I saw it, so I figured I'd put it on here. Thanks!
Looks like a male trapdoor spider - these often leave their burrow to seek out potential mates; female trapdoor spiders tend to be homebodies...
