Im from West Texas. I want to keep this as a pet but idk what it is... its the size of a penny. should i let it go? Is it highly venomouse? I been feeding it fruit flies. Thanx for your reply

It's a jumping spider in the genus Phidippus - see https://www.opsu.edu/Academics/SciMathNurs/NaturalScience/PlantsInsectsOfGoodwell/spiders/spider11.html for an example. They are not dangerous to humans.
