Hello
I have a garden, in which nothing survives. I can barely even grow hostas! The soil is full of roots. It is like a giant web of thin roots. I think they belong to some cedar trees in my neighbour's yard - but I am not sure. Any advice? I am about to give up and pave my front yard.
Help - Spider web of roots in soil
Sometimes bagged dirt gets white long roots that spiderweb. Are these webs white and long or are these thick roots you see? How far away is the cedar? Cedar requires an alkaline soil that only a few other plants tolerate. If they are a thick root, pavers would be the way to avoid killing the cedar.
