I have had this cactus for 35 years. He was no trouble, except the moving of such a huge critter. ( He's family, I call him George: ) He started getting these beige-ish spots. I didn't worry because they were small. But now somethings attacking George. I rarely water him. Every three months in winter, every six weeks in summer. Nothing has changed, except I watered him a little more since he got the spots, thinking he needs more water. I have a grow light on him, which changed. I used to have a fluorescence light before. I live in seattle where the air is humid much of the time. Help! I do want George to die for my eyes!
