Its hard to see but the abdomen is faintly striped, makes it look segmented as the colors are very similar.
CLOSED: Bee/Wasp? What is this?
I also thought termite but the abdomen is so short. I was looking around the internet and it seems it may also be a flying ant. I ditched one on my windshield yesterday but found this one struggling on my seedlings. It is currently in a bottle awaiting your ID =D
