Spotted this in our local area and would like to add to our garden. Ive searched countless sources and cannot find the name of this. It is not very common around here but is beautiful in its peak in early August. Thanks
What is the name of this shrub
Take some more pictures! A singular image is usually never sufficient for a positive ID of an unusual plant.
Nevertheless, consider Chinese Sumac - Rhus chinensis.

Thanks. Most likely a variety of Sumac, by the leaf formation. Clusters are similar as the Chinese but dont seem to be the same as pics I have seen. Camera is on the fritz.. have one on order take some more pics when it arrives if its not too late.
It looks similar to my false spirea (Sorbaria sorbifolia).
