Just got through reading an article on this site recommending Preen for tall bearded iris, went to the forum for Preen & Iris, but not much info on specifically Tall Bearded Iris. The Preen web site doesn't recommend the use of Preen on Iris with rhizomes.
Would love to find a solution to weeds in my Iris bed; which is about 1/2 an acre of Iris, which takes days to hand weed. Has anyone successfully used Preen to control weeds @ the base of Tall Bearded Iris. I'm gardening in California @ 3000ft. elevation. Thank you.
