A week ago, when I was cleaning the cage of my 1 year old hamster, I accidentally noticed these very-very little bugs running all over the bottom of the cage. Some of them had white color and some of them dark. And because I'm nearsighted I saw them when I was cleaning the litter. I'm afraid these bugs are dangerous to the hamster. I have a terrarium with the gecko near the hamster cage, and inside the terrarium lives spring tails, and I thought maybe they somehow get off the terrarium (!but they need a wet ground to live), and then I googled the high resolution photos of the spring tails and they are different from what I saw in the cage. Help me to identify them, please.
[Los Angeles] can\'t identify these bugs living in my hamster\'s cage
These appear to be psocids (booklice); harmless nuisance pests.
