What is this caterpillar?

I found this caterpillar on my Linden tree tonight. I'm in eastern South Dakota. Couldn't find anything like him online. Anyone got ideas as to what it might be? Thanks much!

Looks like an early instar caterpillar of a swallowtail butterfly (Papilio sp.)

You answered a question of mine, I was wondering when I would see these guys. Im sad my big area of dill seems to be empty of them :( I heard from another local that they seem to love dill.
